That which grows from that which is sown is glorious. The seed of the rose plant sits in the hand as a negligible object, but throw it in the ground, and we cherish the glorious rose flower that comes from that same seed that we would never put in a vase on put on our table. And that same cycle of life exists for us.

Love is important in expressing the gospel to the world. Prophecy is important in expressing the gospel to the world. But without the gospel, the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ, nothing is of any value. For without our knowledge and belief in the gospel, we are not saved from the destruction that is sure to come to the world. Without our knowledge and belief in the gospel, we have no part in the everlasting life that the Lord God would love for us to have and sent His Son to give us.
The Church was born out of death. Jesus Christ died on the Cross. If we learn nothing else from our belief in Jesus Christ, we should learn that we are going to live forever.

When conforming to God’s Law, we almost always find ourselves having to choose between our objective evaluation of the situation and our emotional reaction to the situation. My emotional reaction is caused by peer pressure. But, if everyone kept the law, there would be no peer pressure, and I would have an easier time keeping the law.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ makes it clear that it is wise for us to understand that
human death is a temporary, transitional situation, and not a permanent state of being. We are assured of this because Jesus Christ Himself rose physically from the dead. And we will as well.

Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil.

The Holy Spirit is the intelligence of God that is always looking for ways to bring life, meaning reconciliation, to man from God. Those filled with the Spirit of God focus on salvation and reconciliation, just as Jesus brought salvation to reconcile us to God, not condemnation to the world for sin.
Jesus is the seed; He is the first cell of the body, and He must die and be buried before He can reproduce. Jesus has committed no sin, and so is not eligible for the penalty of death. However, Jesus lives among plenty of sinners, all of whom are eligible for the penalty of death. So Jesus voluntarily takes on our sin; He pays the penalty of death that we owe for the sins that we have committed.
