It is incumbent upon every good father to make sure that his sons and daughters are exposed to the wisdom in the Word of God, without which, the children are destined to go down the primrose path to destruction. Yes, it is possible for the children to avoid the trials and tribulations of this life without the guidance of their father, but it is unlikely that they will do so.

We can only pass God’s test by implementing wisdom in our lives, disciplining our desires to listen to the rebukes of life, fear God, and keep His commandments. We have to modify our propensity to act on our desires and rather comply with God’s commands. When we do so, we become wise.

God offers us Heaven as a free gift through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Let us not arrogantly reject Jesus as did the Jews, or ignorantly reject Jesus as did the Romans, but let us recognize the purpose and the prophecy of Jesus’ sacrifice and, in so doing, stay out of Hell.
