God created us with the capacity to think and to choose, because He desired that His relationship with us be one of mutual love as well. To God, how we choose, rather than what we say, is the essence of our expression of love.

Not only is a gentle and quiet spirit precious in the sight of God, but a gentle and quiet spirit makes a husband love his wife. In the wedding vows, the vow to love, honor and cherish comes before the vow of fidelity. The avoidance of arguing and strife is that which love, honoring and cherishing is all about.

Many of our decisions are made emotionally rather than rationally, as we illogically hope that we can escape the reality of the consequences of making decisions without regard for the Word of God. But, a Christian cannot logically and rationally justify any behavior which is contrary to the Scripture while simultaneously claiming to accept God as the Divine Supreme being in their lives.

I am not giving you the information about your personal sinfulness to make you feel bad, but to inform you that the way to heaven and pleasing God goes through a completely different route than being protectively defensive about our sinfulness.

Marriage is not designed to produce constant euphoric emotional satisfaction or sexual ecstasy, marriage is designed to be the process by which we purposefully meld two lives into one that mirrors the relationship between the three parts of the Holy Trinity, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

God has ordained that a person’s primary relationship is supposed to be between themselves and their own spouse, not with a mother or with a child. A child is supposed to bond to their own spouse and create their own family, hopefully, without interference from their mother.

Scientific observation and experimentation exist so that men can predict and control nature. When unique events occur that are outside of nature, scientists can not duplicate them or experiment on them, so scientists develop theories to explain these events. These theories have no scientific basis, but fit the belief structure of scientists, which may be prejudiced against the existence of God. Since Jesus’ resurrection was a unique historical event, outside of nature, rather than one that can be examined by science, we need to go to the testimony of history, rather than to the prejudices of scientists, to decide whether or not the resurrection actually happened.

The intellectual fallacy that the parental input of men is not needed can be traced to the fact that children need an intuitive parental interaction during their infant and toddler years. Before children have the intellectual capacity for structured verbal communication, their majority of the interaction that they have require an intuitive focus by their caregiver. Women, created by God to mother children, are uniquely gifted by God to perform this intuitive task.
