The only competent advice that I can give anyone about life is based upon my experience with and understanding of the content of the Scripture. I know that the teaching of the Scripture is relevant to every situation, and if I can constrain myself to only give advice based upon the teaching of the Scripture, I will be doing the service to which God has called me.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ makes it clear that it is wise for us to understand that
human death is a temporary, transitional situation, and not a permanent state of being. We are assured of this because Jesus Christ Himself rose physically from the dead. And we will as well.
The strength for which God is calling is the strength to say, “nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.” Regardless of our will, we ought do the will of God, because God is wiser than are we, God loves us and God has our best interests at heart.

The more out-of-wedlock sex we have in our communities, the more out-of-wedlock pregnancies and births, the more female headed households, the more incarcerated young males, the fewer men available for marriage, and thus the more out-of-wedlock sex. And so the cycle goes. Biblical morality, particularly as it pertains to sexuality, is not just an arbitrary admonition from God; it is the very real solution to our social problems.

If a man touches a woman incorrectly, even if his motives are pure and the sin is only in the woman’s mind, the man can’t fix it. He can apologize, but he can’t untouch her. On the one hand, to not touch women seems kind of prudish, but on the other hand, the prudes usually tend to stay out of trouble.

In Heaven, God will wipe away all tears. Man will not have an emotional deficiency because in Heaven, there is no more death, sorrow, crying or pain, for the former things have passed away. Heaven is a different environment. We will not only be responsible; we will also be in control, as was Jesus.
If we believe in Jesus Christ, meaning, if we believe that Jesus Christ actually existed, that Jesus Christ is a Wonderful Counselor and that we should do as Jesus Christ instructs us, that Jesus Christ was sent by God, and that Jesus Christ is actually God in the flesh, our primary act of belief in Him is fulfilling His commandment to love one another.

The devil can certainly devise a temptation that we lack the strength to overcome, so we must simply avoid being available when temptation comes. We may find ourselves disobeying God if we overestimate our strength and fail to heed the admonition of God to avoid temptation rather than to try to resist it.
