I am reviewing the relationship between the Heavenly Father and His earthly sons, using the stepping off point of the parable of the Prodigal Son.

The truth is that although the Lord Jesus Christ did not come to the world to condemn it, those that do not develop and understanding and appreciation for the truth will in fact be condemned. Our eternal salvation is not based upon our personal goodness or righteousness, because in the day of judgment, our personal righteousness will be found wanting. Our eternal salvation is based upon our faith in the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, who paid the price that we owe for our sins and can grant us the free gift of salvation.

A man is putty in the hands of a woman if she influences him with the power of love. God has given women that which they need to help and to influence a man to become that which he should, and ultimately, to form a loving and bonded relationship with her.

Those of us that will have the opportunity to judge angels are not going to do so willy-nilly; our judgment will not be based upon our subjective conclusions, but rather, on how well we have mastered the objective concepts given in the Word of God.

Let us reject the pride and the sin of the world and espouse humility before Christ, let us reject the arrogance of the world to espouse faith in Christ, and then, let us endure the persecution of the world, because of our testimony of the deity of the Christ. The kings will come against us, and the world will persecute us, but it is only by giving our lives in defense of the Christ that we can become victorious heroes in the army of the Lord.
