We mature Christians are called to restore other Christians that fall into temptation and then sin. But in order to really understand how sin is restored spiritually, the Master, the Lord Jesus Christ, gives us an object lesson that cannot be surpassed.

It doesn’t matter what kind of sinner you were, or how great your disbelief was before your conversion. Jesus is willing to provide you with the experience that will convince you of His deity, and then He is also willing to forgive your disbelief, because the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.

We are to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. We are to do that which the Word of God tells us, regardless of our feelings about our situation. We are to govern our speech so that it conforms to that which God expects from us.
