We mature Christians are called to restore other Christians that fall into temptation and then sin. But in order to really understand how sin is restored spiritually, the Master, the Lord Jesus Christ, gives us an object lesson that cannot be surpassed.

Peter informed the Gentile Christians that circumcision was unnecessary for those who believe in the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. But Peter changed his tune and Paul opposed Peter and the Judaizing Christians to their faces when the Judaizing Christians came to instruct the Gentiles Christians that they did need to be circumcised.

Ruth chose God, and God used the natural attributes that He gave Ruth to provide for Ruth and Naomi, through the protective generosity of Boaz. Although neither Ruth nor Naomi had a husband, God was still looking after them through Boaz, their kinsman-redeemer.

There is no demographic characteristic, be it race, ethnic background, or national origin, that can separate a believer from God.

We need to avoid becoming like the men of Sodom, who exalted their personal desires above the law of God, although they knew that that which they were doing was wrong.
