Those of us that will have the opportunity to judge angels are not going to do so willy-nilly; our judgment will not be based upon our subjective conclusions, but rather, on how well we have mastered the objective concepts given in the Word of God.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ makes it clear that it is wise for us to understand that human death is a temporary, transitional situation, and not a permanent state of being. We are assured of this because Jesus Christ Himself rose physically from the dead. And we will as well.

Our sins are forgiven because of the mercy of God through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, and our love for Jesus because of His goodness to us calls to love one another as He has loved us.

It doesn’t matter what kind of sinner you were, or how great your disbelief was before your conversion. Jesus is willing to provide you with the experience that will convince you of His deity, and then He is also willing to forgive your disbelief, because the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Keeping the physical commandments is the elementary level of Christianity. The more advanced level of Christianity involves developing a Christian attitude, which is an attitude that works and hopes for the repentance of others.

Our mission as a church is to provide an effective argument for the historical reality of the life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ to our community. It is my job to preach and publish presentations that affirm the evidence that Jesus Christ was a real person, and that the Biblical accounts of Jesus’ activities are as historically accurate as are the accounts of the lives of Abraham Lincoln and George Washington, whose birthdays we celebrated last Monday.

Jesus Christ died so that we would believe in Him, and then become salt and light to those with whom we come into contact. He could have mentored the whole world, but Jesus chose to only have a few faithful disciples so that we would be encouraged by His example to touch the few with whom we come into contact, and not become discouraged simply because our reach is not as wide as that of the Jewish and Roman leadership.
