God’s teaching in Genesis 2:18 is that women are meant to be men’s helpers. And, intuitively obvious from the verse is that assertion that God’s purpose for creating women is to help men to not be lonely.

The key to living the active, high risk, high reward investor lifestyle is getting past physical limitations to have faith in God’s Word and understanding, as God told Sarah, that there is nothing too hard for God.

Once God gives us His instructions, He says, “It’s up to you. You can either have faith in Me or not. If you demonstrate faith and follow My instructions, you will live well. If you fail to demonstrate faith and disobey My instructions, you will live poorly, and then you will die.”

When a person can wisely assess their situation and find the providence of God their situation, they will be grateful to God, and gratitude leads to happiness. If you choose to grateful for that which you have rather than being angry about that which you do not have, you can be happy, regardless of the situation.

Jesus became a man, and increased His stature above perfection by not just obeying the law perfectly, but by sacrificing Himself for mankind. To sacrifice for someone else rather than to place blame on them is the true meaning of the Golden Rule, Matthew 7:12: 12 Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

You cannot bring abominations to God and expect Him to accept you because you don’t want to be embarrassed in front of your peers. Jesus Christ died in front of His disciples and His enemies; He gave His life rather than knuckle under to the peer pressure, and we have to have the same mindset if we want to stay at His wedding.

Joseph had faith in God. Not intellectual faith or theoretical faith, but actual faith. When God spoke to Joseph, even through an angel and even in a dream, Joseph had faith in that which God said.

Life is about developing intimate relationships, and the path to intimacy between us and God is prayer. We have the capacity, through our interaction with God in prayer, to develop an intimate relationship that will allow us to function on a level higher than we can imagine. There is no limit to the power of God. The limitation is in the quality of our relationship with Him.
